What is a Garden Office?

As it sounds - if you work from home and space is limited in the house then a garden room could be the answer - your garden office. A fully insulated cabin with electricity, internet and even running water, somewhere you can lock yourself away and work undisturbed. However, garden rooms don't have to be offices, other common uses are a mini gym, a music studio, arts & crafts or a treatment room for physios, osteopaths and therapists for example. There's also the family to think of - a garden room could make a great play area for younger kids or a great den for teenagers to hang out in.

Benefits

The benefits of garden rooms are probably best highlighted by thinking about the alternatives - moving house for more space or building an extension on the house. Building a garden room is a lot less disruptive than having an extension (dust in the house, temporary exposure to the elements) and in most cases will work out cheaper.
